1. General information

Protecting personal data is important to us. This privacy policy explains which data is processed when you visit this static website or contact us. The relevant legal bases include the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).

3. Website access and server log files

When this website is accessed, technically necessary access data is processed. This may include IP address, date and time of request, requested file or URL, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system, HTTP status code and transferred data volume. This processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain system security and analyse errors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website.

4. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide in order to handle your request and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to pre-contractual or contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Hosting

This website is operated on a server provided by Hostinger. The hosting provider processes technical data required for operating the website, in particular server log files and connection data. Hosting is used to provide our online offering securely, quickly and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where Hostinger processes personal data on our behalf, this is based on a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

6. Cookies and language setting

The static website currently does not use analytics or marketing tracking. A technically necessary language cookie, for example pll_language, may be set so that the selected language version of the website can be provided correctly. The legal basis is Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. For non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we would obtain consent in advance pursuant to Section 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

7. YouTube links

On the “Video & Press” page, YouTube videos are offered as preview areas with direct links. Only when you click a YouTube link do you leave our website and get redirected to YouTube. Google Ireland Limited is responsible for data processing on YouTube. Google may process personal data, in particular IP address, device information and usage data, and may transfer such data to third countries. 8. Fonts and static media

Fonts, images, PDF files, stylesheets and scripts are currently delivered locally from our server. This means that a normal page view does not establish a connection to external font provider servers such as Google Fonts.

9. Disclosure of data

Personal data is disclosed only where this is necessary to process your request, fulfil a contract, technically provide the website, comply with legal obligations or where you have given consent.

10. Storage period

Personal data is stored only for as long as required for the respective purpose or as long as statutory retention periods apply. Server log files are used only for operation, security and error analysis and are then deleted or anonymised once no longer required for these purposes.

11. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.

12. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In particular, the authority of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement may be competent.

This website uses HTTPS encryption to protect data transmitted between your browser and our server.
